Center for European and North Atlantic Affairs - Centrum pre európske a severoatlantické vzťahy (CENAA) is an independent NGO, which is focusing mainly on research, training and education, publication activities, conferences and seminars within the scope of international relations, foreign and security policy. Each project covers a wide variety of research, conferences, workshops and publication activities with local and international partners involved. Education and training of representatives from NATO and EU neighboring states as well as regions has become one of our core activities in the recent years.

Our aim is to play an active role in the strategic and foreign policy discussion in Slovakia, to participate in the education process of future professionals of foreign and security policy and to contribute to stability and sustainable development in all regions and countries were we are present through our educational and training programmes.

Panorama of global security environment 2009 Centre for European and North Atlantic Affairs (CENAA) issued the sixth edition of the Panorama of global security environment. The publication has been presented during the intenational conference „New Challenges – Better Capabilities“ organised by SAC, MFA SR and MoD SR, 21-22. October 2009. The conference was orgaised as a side event of Summit of NATO ministers of defence. The publication has 734 pages and the editors are Marian Majer, Róbert Ondrejcsák, Vladimír Tarasovič a Tomáš Valášek. Besides the authors from Slovakia we are proud that the Panorama 2009 includes papers of experts from Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, the United States, France, Ukraine, Armenia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Kosovo, ect. Similarly to previous editions, the Panorama 2009 covers almost all region in the Word, as well as a chapter about specific issues of international relations and global security.
