Erasmus Internship

 

European students can apply for a three to twelve month ERASMUS internship at CENAA.

Bc. Jaroslav Jančár

 

Jaroslav Jančár is a student of final year of European studies program on Faculty of economic and social sciences at Comenius University. His master thesis is dealing with „Different perceptions of the Central Asia region in US and Russian thinking“. In 2013 he was intern at Institute of security and defense studies (research centre of the Slovak Ministry of Defense), where his focus centred on relevant international treaties dealing with weapons of mass destruction. During his bachelor studies he completed semester at University of Ljubljana. Currently he is attending trainings in international mediation and conflict resolution classes organized by non- governmental organization PDCS.

Mgr.Kristína Janková

 

Graduated from European studies at Faculty of social and economic sciences, Comenius University, where she received title bachelor and later master of art, when she defended the mater thesis “Resolutions of UN Security Council and responsibility for international operations“. From 2013 she is intern PhD student at Institute of European Studies and International Relations at mentioned faculty. In her doctoral thesis “Humanitarian Intervention and Responsibility to Protect” she is focusing on legal and empirical aspects of R2P in the context of humanitarian intervention

Johana Kollarová

 

Johana Kollarova is currently studying for the degree of MA in International Relations and French at the University of Aberdeen. She is a co-founder and vice-president of the Czech and Slovak Society in Aberdeen. She has worked in non-government sector as a charity fundraiser for Macmillan Cancer Support in Home Fundraising.

Bc. Lenka Liptajová

 

Lenka Liptajová is a student at the Faculty of International Relations at the University of Economics in Bratislava. Her bachelor thesis was focused on the mutual relationship between Russian federation and Commonwealth of Independent States. In 2013 she graduated internship in the office of a Member of Parliament of the Slovak Republic.

Bc. Eva Mikolajczyková

Eva Mikolajczyková is a master’s student of European Studies and International Relations at the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences, Comenius University in Bratislava. Within the Erasmus programme, she has studied for one year at the University of Salzburg in Austria. In 2011, she was an intern in the civic association “People against racism” where she was pimarily dealing with the media monitoring and selection of cases of “hate crimes” and discrimination in Slovakia within the year 2011. Her Bachelor thesis was devoted to Polish-Slovak bilateral relations and currently she is working on her Master thesis about Polish-Slovak cross-border cooperation. In CENAA she is involved in the research Extremism.

Bc. Matúš Pavelko

Matúš Pavelko completed bachelor studies in European Studies at the Faculty of Social Studies Masaryk University. In his bachelor thesis he dealt with the role of the EU in Transnistria and in solving Transnistrian Conflict. He also completed internship at the Representation of the European Commission in Slovakia. In future he would like to deal with the topic Common Foreign and Security Policy of the EU.

Mgr. Erika Škottová

 

Graduated from Political science at the Alexander Dubček University in Trenčín. Her undergraduate work was focused on terrorism and the preparedness of the Army of the Slovak Republic on its threats. In her master thesis she deals with the issue of right-wing extremism in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. In summer of 2013 she completed a two-month internship at the Ministry of Interior of the Slovak Republic, at the civil defence and crisis management section, where she participated on the preparation of documents and materials for foreign partners. In CENAA she works on the project related to extremism.

Bc. Réka Tárnoková

 

Réka Tárnoková graduated bachelor study of European Studies at Philosophic Faculty of Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra. In 2013 I began studying Public Policy at Comenius University in Bratislava. In the past she completed an intership in Pons Danubii in Komárno.

Mario Garić

 

Mario is an undergraduate student of political science (public policy and public administration) at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of social sciences. He spent one semester at the University of social sciences and humanities in Poland and currently he is preparing his bachelor thesis concerning international community in Bosnia and Herzegovina. During his studies he was working in Public Opinion and Mass Communication Research Centre in Ljubljana (CJM).
