NATO Advanced Research Workshop (Bratislava, October 14-15, 2014)


Centre for European and North Atlantic Affairs (CENAA) with support of the NATO Science for Peace Programme organized unique research workshop “Lessons learned from Small States Committing Troops to Operations Abroad“. The workshop took place on October 14-15, 2014 in Bratislava, at the Historical Building of the National Council of the Slovak Republic.

The workshop have hosted 30 experts from army, academy and state offices. Participants were from not only NATO member countries, but also from Georgia, Mongolia and so on. 

Workshop “Lessons learned from Small States Committing Troops to Operations Abroad”  was the first from three planned events. The other two workshops will take place in year 2015 (Tbilisi and Brussels). The results of the workshop will be processed in the publication, which is scheduled for release shortly after the last workshop.
