Discussion clubs

Discussion clubs are irregular and informal meetings “with biscuits and coffee,” with an invited speaker on a specific topic. As the name implies, clubs emphases is placed on discussion, so the role of speaker is mainly to introduce the topic, make a brief introduction and respond to questions from the audience. Clubs are organized by the Centre for European and North Atlantic Affairs (CENAA) in cooperation with Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) and are held approximately 3-5 times per semester at the Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra, University of Matej Bel in Banska Bystrica, and also at the Economic University in Bratislava. Discussions are ongoing in Slovak and English.
